Mercy Extended
A world without mercy is like a day without sunshine.
Mercy might seem insignificant—until the moment you’re the one in need of it. Although it’s a small word, it yields big impact. Yet too often it is misunderstood. Author Linda Oberbrunner learned the power of mercy firsthand. Born in the Midwest back in the 1950s, she found herself caught up in economic, racial, social, and political tension. Riots, protests, and crisis were commonplace creating divisions within families, neighborhoods, and nations.
Yet mercy kept extending itself beyond borders and boundaries. Hearts melted, walls toppled, and stereotypes shattered as mercy showed up time and time again in the most unexpected places. In this riveting journey, readers will find their own souls strengthened as they experience the irresistible gift of mercy.
